Salmon Festival

Hello Parents,

We will be traveling to the Salmon Festival in Leavenworth on September 20. This is a great trip that ties into our science work throughout the year. Your student will need to have clothes appropriate for the weather, we are outside all day. Each student will also need to bring a sack lunch.  Permission slips need to be back before September 18^th. If you have any questions be sure to email me.

Weekly Letter Home

Good Afternoon Parents,

We have a great first week. It has been really fun starting to learn about time. We learned about hours, seconds and minutes. For most of us this was just a review of what we have learned in second grade. Another subject we are starting to learn about is animal classification. Animals move in different ways. Some slither some run and others hop. This week we also took a quiz that told us about our learning styles and strengths. The quiz was fifty six different questions. Whew! It told us what our different strengths are like music, nature, body movement, language. Some of us got to use lap tops and others used computers. We have enough computers so that each of us can have one. This week has been fun because we have started to sing different songs. Finally we created a class mission statement. Our mission tells gives us a goal of what our legacy should be when we graduate. We are going to have a great year!
