Ben's Spring Break

I can not wait till spring break. My friend Chad is coming to spend a night. To begin with my friend Chad will like our house because downstairs we have lots of fun things to do! We can play awesome games all day and night. I like the games Chad plays because his games are fun. His games are like star wars, fighting and monster hide and seek. Sometimes monster hide and seek is scary for me. Another thing I’m exited about spring break is that Chad and I can finally sleep in! Well because my brothers are sleeping up in the living room and there is no more school for a week! After we get up we will get dressed, eat breakfast and go play some more awesome games! That is what I am going to do this spring break.

Jacks Spring Break

My spring break is going to be awesome. I am going to Harry Potter land! One of the things we are going to do is get my wand. The whole place is rigged so when I cast a spell and it’ll work. Like wimgardim leviosa it’s a floating spell. Whatever you point it at it will float. Going to the wand store will be the first thing we do. The second thing we will do is to go to Diagon Alley! Diagon Alley is an alleyway for wizards! The wand place is there and they even cut hair at Diagon Alley! One of the reasons that I want to go to Diagon Alley is I want to go get the monster book! Even better it try’s to eat you but in the real world it just jerks and it looks like a monster. The next thing I am going to do is ride the rides with my grandpa. There is this one ride that it looks like a 3D TV is in front of us and it shows Harry Ron and Herminie on broomsticks and makes you feel like you are flying all over England and the school grounds. The last thing I am going to do is to go to see the castle. One of the things I am going to do is meet Albus Dumbledore! I want to go to the castle is to see all the rooms! I will fight the 3 headed dog. He is pretty big. His name is fluffy. But back to the point, one of the rooms I want to see all the dormitories. Another room I want to se the chamber of secrets. So as you can see I am really excited about going to Harry Potter land!

Ellas Spring Break

By Ella Osborne I can’t wait. It will be a fun time in Grand Coulee and at Apple-Achee. This spring break! To begin with I will ride my horse with my friend at Grand Coulee so I can practice for the fair. I haven’t been to Grand Coulee since last year’s spring break. I can’t wait to see my really good friend Austin. She did fair with me last year and this year she will be doing fair. She also went to the horse camp last year but this year she will not be doing the horse camp with me. After Grand Coulee I will travel to Apple-Achee for a schooling show. A schooling show is a horse place. I’m not really sure what will happen because it is all brand new to me. In may I will go to the schooling show again with my friend Bailey she will take her new horse Gunner. Apple-Achee is in Wenatchee. It is by Saddle rock. Appleachee is a horse practice arena for me. When I mean horse practice I mean practice with my horse. I need to practice keeping my toes up, and heals down, and to turn my feet in so I do not fall out of my stirrups. My dad and Aunt Sheri will be there to support me and help me and help me. I will practice a lot. This practice is all for fair so I can get lots of ribbons. Bailey will be there at fair with Gunner. I can’t wait!! I have never done fair with Bailey ever. Now you know what I am doing this spring break!!!

Johnna's Spring Break

Wow I can’t believe spring break is here. I’m going to Chucky Cheeses. One of the things I’m excited about is getting lots of tickets. You are probably wondering why I’m excited about tickets. Well , if you get a bunch of tickets like me you will get a butch of prizes like a rocket that you can shoot up in the air. I really want to win the rocket prize. My big brother and I are going to have a contest who can get the most tickets. It’s going to be so awesome. Another thing I’m excited about is that Joslyn, my best friend might come with us. We are going to stay up all night and have a gigantic pillow fight. When my dad is exhausted from all of our craziness, he will take us to the mall and we’re going to buy lots of clothes. It will be so much fun. Well as you can see no one is more excited about this spring break than I am!! I can’t wait to go to Chucky Cheeses.

Student led conference Prep continues

Today students shared their conference notes with each other. Students showed great skill not only sharing but asking questions and demonstrating strong listening skills. This activity is very beneficial as it helps students to continue to reflect on their progress. They all are very excited about sharing with their parents.

 Cell 3 Student Engagement Intellectual Work demonstrates student ownership of their learning. Students do this planning at the start of each week to refocus their attention on what is truly important. This helps each student become self aware of what they need to accomplish as an individual.
